The fashion trade show B&B BERLIN

Thanks to our collegues Sofie and Guendalina that have been to the fashion tradeshow Bread & Butter in Berlin. Here are their impressions!

” It’s been some crazy days in a fashionable Berlin at the fashion trade fair Bread & Butter! As Elisa wrote earlier the fair took place in the old airport Tempelhof and it actually felt like you where in a airport but full of clothing and accessories! 3 days of  lots of inspiration to take in, we walked through the different areas from Urban Superior to Fashion Now it was very intresting to see the different styles on both the brands and the visitors. The biggest space was given to Denim Base with all the big famous brands as Fornarina, G-star, Guess, Diesel, Levi’s etc. We found many new cool brands that we hope to be able to show you in the future…for now we can give you a sneak peak of some shoes and accessories from Urban Code and Friis c/o for the autumn/winter collection 2010!
See you soon, Sofie “

The Bread&Butter fashion fair is certainly the most important one concering young fashion, upcoming trends and experimenting. However this time we have noticed, compared to the last edition in Barcellona, a bit of “crisis” regarding upcoming brands, they were few and not that emphazised..  The most evident trends seem to be in particular two, and very different, the 80′/90′s such as colored legging, oversize jackets, accentuated shoulderpads, belts with elasticized clips, ankle boots with really high heels or wedges…and then the vintage trend in all possible ways; everything that is second hand or that has a vintage aspect, jeans, dresses, jackets, furs and even shoes! This year the Romano A/1 2010 collection offers news – there will be lovely leather jackets from Urban code, together with the bags from the same brand, soft leather e warm colours.
Ciao! Guen “
