Florence goes fashion between the 12th and 15th of January with Pitti Immagine Uomo - definitely the trade fair that launches the international fashion season.
For a few days in this town will be all about fashion, at the Fortezza da Basso. Pitti Uomo 77 will open the 2010 international fashion agenda – and it will be filled with exclusive programs and previews in a total of 59.00 square meters dedicated to more than 900 fashionbrands! SneakPeaks: There will be an Everlast’s special layout to celebrate the brand’s 100th birthday and a thrilling fashion show, the first by Corneliani. You will find many names, such as Fornarina, the brand add, and others collections by young, avant-garde brands from all over the world.
At the same time, at the Dogana, there will be Pitti Woman Precollection, dedicated to previews of women’s collections for Autumn/ Winter 2010. Over 70 of the most prestigious fashion brands will present their exclusive collections for the upcoming cold season. Giles Deacon will be the special guest of this fifth edition, presenting the evening f Thursday, January the 14th, 2010, his pre/woman collection fall/winter in an exceptional location: the seat of Richard Ginori 1735, in Sesto fiorentino.
