[streets without wall]

This morning on our way to work, to open the shoe shop in via degli Speziali, we found something “different” in Piazza della Repubblica. An artist, a certain Ivan, was covering the whole square with a gigantic plastic sheet….why?? We found the answer when we at lunch couldn’t keep our curiosity anymore. The square was full of people, tins of paint and paint brushes. “The World’s biggest page” wasn’t white anymore, but full of drawings and writings of all kind. Of course we had to be a part of it!

“Streets without wall” is an event of Street art – Urban art to support the Art Charity project ” Villaggio San Sebastiano“, and take place here in Florence from the 13th of April to the 3rd of May.

Anyone can contribute to the realization of this ambitious project donating an artwork.
